Behind Lina & Lot are Justus Bruns and Mingus Vogel. We run Convince together, a design studio in Amsterdam, alongside VOUW, a lab for speculative artworks and inventions. Lina & Lot is our newest brand: warmer and simpler than our other projects, closer to everyday life.

We are impressed by what AI can do, and we also see how much it flattens. Everyone gets the same images, the same feeds, the same algorithmic outcomes. A real card in the post, with your photo, your words, for one specific person, feels precious because of that.

Lina & Lot tries to prove something simple: AI at its best makes something personal that one person can hold, not another scroll of feed-filler.

For the parents who realise on a busy Wednesday, between meetings, that it is grandma’s birthday the day after tomorrow. For the couple that almost forgot a wedding anniversary. For anyone who wants to send something thoughtful to someone dear, without an hour of creative wrestling.
