Clear arrangements for your card.
These terms apply to every order you place via linalot.com. We keep them as short and clear as possible. Got a question? Email contact@convinceagency.com.

1. Who are we?

Lina & Lot is a brand of Convince B.V. Our studio is at Generaal Vetterstraat 57, 1053 BT Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Registered address: Krugerplein 4-1, 1091 KX Amsterdam. Chamber of Commerce 80932983 · VAT NL861856727B01. Reach us at contact@convinceagency.com.

2. What you get

A unique greeting card generated from your photo in the style you chose, printed on 350 gsm paper, in a square envelope, mailed via PostNL to the address you provided.

3. Price

The total price (including VAT and shipping) is shown on the checkout page before payment and recorded in the order confirmation. Shipping outside the Netherlands is priced per region and visible at checkout. A later price change does not affect your order.

4. Payment

Payment is processed directly by our payment provider Mollie (iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact). We start printing as soon as payment is confirmed.

5. Delivery

We aim to hand the card to PostNL within one working day of payment, for delivery to the address you provided. PostNL and its partners typically deliver within 1–2 working days in the Netherlands, 2–4 working days within Europe, and 4–14 working days outside Europe — depending on the country.

6. No right of withdrawal — excluded by law

Because the card is made specifically for you and based on your own photo and message, the statutory right of withdrawal is excluded under article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code (consumer distance sales, supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications and not prefabricated).

By completing checkout you expressly agree to this and waive your right of withdrawal. In practice: as soon as you have paid, the card goes into production and cannot be returned.

7. Conformity

We guarantee that our card meets what you can reasonably expect: the right text, the right style, delivered to the right address. Something not right? Email us within fourteen days of receipt and we will fix it (see section 10).

8. AI portrait — what to expect

The portrait on the card is generated by an AI model based on your photo and the chosen style. It is an artistic interpretation, not an exact copy. Slight differences in expression, colour, or detail are part of the style and do not count as a defect.

If we cannot generate a suitable portrait (for example because the AI model cannot process your photo well), we will tell you during creation and you can try a different photo — before payment.

9. Your photo, our design

Your photo stays yours. We only use it to make your specific card. How we handle your photo is set out in our privacy statement.

The chosen style and card layout remain ours. You may freely use the generated portrait on your card for personal, non-commercial purposes. For commercial use, please get in touch first.

10. Complaints and disputes

Got a complaint? Email contact@convinceagency.com. We respond within five working days and look for a solution together.

If we cannot resolve it, you can submit your complaint to the European Commission’s ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Liability

Our liability for damages is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question, except in the case of intent or wilful recklessness on our part.

12. Governing law

These terms and your order are governed by Dutch law. For disputes that are not resolved by mutual agreement, the competent court is in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law assigns another court.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Your order is governed by the terms as they appeared on the website at the time of the order.
